Some people spend hours in our museum because they just can’t get enough of the nostalgia. Deliberately, which toy was your favorite? And do your children even know Flying Hats game at all?
Our museum is placed in a (originally) family house in the heart of Lednice. You will find over 1000 old toys with us. From those who only remember your great-grandmothers, to those you may have played with yourself 30 years ago. In numbers – the age range of our toys is from 1789 to 1990. 🙂 What we are especially proud of is our collection of Barbies from the 60s, or Laterna Magica from 1860 (that you do not know what it is? So come find out ;)).
If you want to be educated, we will teach you about their history – what and why they were made, who invented them and when and why it first occurred to someone (which is usually the most interesting). And what we like best are personal toy stories. And if you don’t want to be educated, you can simply remember happily and enjoy the coolness and peace in the otherwise overcrowded and summer-frozen Lednice. 🙂
